![]() ![]() Armor, shields, and armor damage doesn't even matter and you'll save on tool costs in a fight against them. Prioritize waking up anybody who goes to sleep. Thus, you need to move your guys so they are 1-2 spaces apart asap and in this loose formation advance towards at least one of them (2 spaces max assuming good terrain, need 4 ap to wake guys). Other than move and have fake copies of themselves, that's all they do. They use an aoe effect sleep move from almost any range and then can follow up with a nightmare move to hurt you. ![]() It's not that anybody is meant to reliably resist them, though higher resolve helps, it's that they need to be fought in a certain way. I'm not sure if even lvl 20 character can resist the nightmare.Īlps might be the worst possible enemy to retreat from given how they work. I wonder if anyone had the same problem and how did they conter this. The new retreat mechanic prevents me to escape.
